Our practice is absolutely dedicated to excellence in
all fields of surgery that we practice and we have had a long standing reputation in the medical center for providing the latest and the best surgical care to our patients. We have taken a very special interest in tackling the disease of obesity. We created a
comprehensive weight loss center at The Methodist
Hospital and have been doing gastric bypass and now lap band with very low complication rates. We understand that these surgeries are a tool and we have designed a comprehensive aftercare program so that our patients can learn how to use that tool more effectively. We strive to provide compassionate care and are always available for our patients in times of need. We have a dietician, psychologist, exercise therapist, support groups, and insurance specialists to help you navigate your way to a new life!

About Houston Surgical Consultants

Dr. Garth Davis and Dr. Robert Davis have been practicing surgery in the Texas Medical Center for over 25 years and our patient population is local, national and international. We practice general surgery with a focus on minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. They have been recognized by Texas Monthly as Texas Super Docs.

Dr. Garth Davis / T & TH; 10AM - 4:45PM
Surgery is performed M - F in the morning.
